Roskilde Cathedral

Both of Queen Magrethe's parents, King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid, are buried in Roskilde. On occasion of the Queen's 40th anniversary, she and her family visited their memorial site at Roskilde Cathedral.

Reception at Copenhagen City Hall

After the memorial service in Roskilde Cathedral, the royal family attended another reception at Copenhagen City Hall. The reception was hosted by the city of Copenhagen to honor the Queen on behalf of her 40th anniversary.

Gala performance at DR's Concert Hall

In the evening on January 14th, the Queen was celebrated with a gala performance at DR's Concert Hall in Copenhagen. Her entire family were there enjoying the performance with her.
